In the Texas Wrangler Junior High Rodeo Division, student athletes in grades 6th - 8th compete in 10 regions throughout the state of Texas for the chance to advance to the State Finals. The top 8 rodeo athletes in each of 11 events meet and compete at the State Finals. These events include: Junior Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Pole Bending, Tie Down Roping, Chute Dogging, Ribbon Roping, Girls and Boys Goat Tying and Girls and Boys Breakaway Roping. During the State Finals Rodeo, these athletes compete for the opportunity to represent Texas in the National Junior High Finals Rodeo. Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Champions! Texas Wrangler
